YouGov UK is an Online Survey site based in the UK. YouGov is different to other survey sites as they take a political angle. Researchers ask YouGov to pass out surveys on their site to get views and opinions on various things, so by completing YouGov surveys online, you are helping companies to improve all sorts of products and services. These researchers come from the likes of public affairs groups, political campaigns, companies and marketing agencies
I have started using this site after being referred to it by a friend. I have earned about 1000 points in my first week using the site and do believe that it is possible to make a good amount of money using the site. While it may not be the quickest way to go about getting the money it’s an excellent way to accumulate a good sum of money over time.
Anyway, without further ado, I’m now going to bring you the full rundown of what you need to know about YouGov UK and how you can go about maximising your earning potential on it
As the name suggests, YouGov UK is only available to people residing in the UK. Anyone over the age of 16 is eligible to complete surveys on YouGov. YouGov UK is a legit site and does not require any money to sign up for the site.
You can register for the site using either your Facebook account or by using your email address. The sign-up process is quite simple and should only take you a couple of minutes. From there id suggests you take the profile survey and make sure you complete the profile set up. By doing this, you will increase your chances of getting more survey invitations.
You can apply for a payout of a cheque which is then delivered to your house to the post.
The minimum payout is £50 pounds. I am yet to request a payment but is achievable considering you get 100 points per survey.
You will get the reward within one month of your request
I have to admit when i first came across Toluna and looked at the ways you can earn money on the site i could see straight away that the wasnt much going for the site. There are two notable features however being the survey section and the gifties. Although the survey section isnt to spectacular its the only way you can go about earning money on the site
Surveys are great on YouGov because they are straightforward to complete and take a little time out your day to do. I like to login to YouGov when I wake up in the morning and tend to do at least one survey; this typically takes around 10 minutes. Some days you won’t get a study to complete, but I’ve never gone two days without one which isn’t too bad in my opinion.
Spending roughly 10 minutes a day on this site will get you around 50 – 150 points. So to put it in the big picture if you got 100 points for each survey and you completed one every day, you could reach the £50 payout in just after a month! That’s about £12.50 a week!
A good thing I like about YouGov is that all their surveys are brought to you by themselves and not by other survey routers. Surveys are easy to get through without getting disqualified on YouGov as unlike many surveys out there that are very strict with who can take their surveys, these studies are looking to get a broader range of opinions and views from a whole variety of people.
Entering the prize draws is a good way to spend your points as you are entered to be with a chance of winning £2000. This is a great way, especially if your only planning to go on the site now and then, to rack up the odd amount of points.
Referring friends to the site is another way to earn money on the site. Just by sharing your link around with others and having people click on your link could get you 200 points per person. The one issue with this is that each referral needs to complete five surveys for you to get paid.
Although you can make money this way I wouldn’t recommend spending a lot of time trying to get people to sign up has it just won’t be worth it. When people sign up for sites, they look to try them out and see what the sites about, so getting someone to not only sign up for the site but also complete five surveys could be tricky.
