Opinion Panel Community Review – Is Opinion Panel Legit?

In this post as you can probably tell I will bringing you a Opinion Panel review. Ill be giving you all the information you need to know about them including whether they are worth your time, how they pay, and what exactly they are about

Opinion Panel Review Summary

Website: www.opinionpanel.co.uk

What Are They?: Site that pays students (18 to 30) to complete surveys online

Verdict: Legit

Worth It: No

What Is Opinion Panel?

While the majority of survey sites are open to most people this one works a little differently and targets a certain audience.

Opinion Panel are currently targeting people aged 16 - 30 however there's a catch, you will need to either be a student or someone who has been to University to be eligible.

Getting Started

Its easy to get started and you can either sign up using your email address or alternatively your Facebook account.

Whats great about this site is you do get £10 just for joining, while that is a lot of money especially as its free and your just signing up the threshold to get paid is quite high. So with the sign up bonus you will need to make an extra £15 to get that first payout, but it does make it easier.

What Are Their Surveys Like?

Once you have completed the sign up including the registration form you can then start making money from their surveys.

On the main page they mention how you can make up to £4 a survey however for most of the surveys you can expect to receive between £0.50 to £2 a survey.

The problem with the surveys isn't how much they reward as there not too bad compared to other sites, its more on the frequency side. From what I have seen members have found it frustrating how many surveys they recieve and that thiers a real lack of them.

When you receive only a few surveys it knocks down your earning potential a lot so when you realise that the threshold is high at £25 you can see how it could be hard to make a lot of money with this one.

Get Paid Up To £50 For Discussions

Another way you can make money is through taking part in their discussions, these pay much better than surveys however are less frequent to come by. They take on a concept similar to Mindswarms where you can talk face-to-face in a discussion and get paid anywhere between £30 and £70 a study.

What Rewards Are Available

You can request a reward as soon as you reach 2500 points which is £25. You have the choice of one of the many retailers in the UK such as the likes of Amazon, Sports Direct, Boots Starbucks, Currys and many more.

If your not interested in gift vouchers they also pay out in cash through PayPal. I'm a big fan of receiving money through PayPal option on survey sites so this is awesome that they have this.

Apart from the first payout where you are given £10 from the sign up bonus to put towards a reward, reaching the threshold will probably be a problem unless you're getting high paying surveys.

As let’s say you are getting at least £0.50 every time you complete a survey it is going to take you a maximum 50 surveys before you can get paid out. Obviously if you do get high paying surveys it will take you less time but it will still be a grind to reach the threshold time after time as the surveys are somewhat limited.

Some people do tend to like sites like these as they like receiving huge payouts when they finally reach them. However I would much rather go with the likes of Swagbucks and Prizerebel who have low minimal thresholds and make it much easier for you to withdraw your earnings.

The Opinion Panel Positives and Negatives

The 'Good' Stuff

  • check
£10 bonus just for signing up
  • check
    Interface is smooth and modern
  • check
A good opportunity for students to make some money out of classes
  • check
Additional ways to make money such as writing for them

The 'Not So Good' Stuff

  • close
On the downside they are only for students between 18 and 30 years of age
  • close
Making money will be slow as surveys aren't frequently sent to you
  • close
Threshold is high at £25 making it difficult to consistently withdraw your earnings

So Is Opinion Panel A Scam?

Opinion Panel is far from being a scam and is a legitimate panel that helps students make money.

I can see how this site could have its benefits as while they may not be the best survey site out there. With student life being expensive it offers a genuine opportunity for them to make money when there not doing there coursework.

However with that said there isn't to much to shout about with Opinion Panel. The £10 bonus is sweet and being aimed at students is something different in the online survey industry.

With that said I would not class them as being worth your time and effort, with the lack of surveys you could take 1 or 2 when they come about however your probably better off checking out these high paying survey sites instead that I would recommend.
