Microsoft Rewards Review – Is It Possible To Earn Much With This Rewards Site?

Microsoft rewards were previously known as a rewards site which you may or not be familiar with called Bing Rewards. Microsoft Rewards which is owned by Microsoft hence the name rewards members for completing various types of things.

Now in this Microsoft Rewards review ill be taking a closer look at the rewards site and will be giving you all the information you need to know aswell as whether they are a site to earn extra rewards in your spare time.

By completing various activities you will earn points that can then be later exchanged for rewards.

I’ll go through everything you need to know about the site in the next couple of minutes.

Now just before I get into this review If you’ve been seeking a way to earn a passive income or even then check out this program

What Is Microsoft Rewards?

Microsoft Rewards pays members to complete a variety of different things in return for rewards.

You can earn points through doing things such surveys and searching on Bing search engine.

Is It Free and Does The Program Work?

Microsoft Rewards is a free program that anyone can sign up for and start earning rewards over the age of 13.

Now for how the program works, it is a little unusual in the fact that a 1 point doesn’t even make up a cent. It does, however, equal a tenth of a cent.

For every search, you complete you will earn 5 points, which means for every 2 searches you do on Bing you will earn a penny.

Luckily there are other ways of earning money, but the other opportunities are fairly limited. For instance the surveys you will only receive a couple every now and then and they pay around 50 points a survey.

What Payouts Can You Get And When Can You Get Them?

While they don’t pay out through PayPal or the popular Amazon gift cards they do however offer many rewards such as Xbox and Microsoft gift cards.

They have rewards like Groove Music passes, Xbox live Gold and other gift cards as well as even the option to donate to charity.

Rewards range from £5 upwards and start at around 2,100 points for the cheaper rewards.

If you’re more into sweepstakes and would much rather use your points for the chance of getting a high priced item.

Sweepstakes only cost around 100 points and by redeeming them you get entered into the monthly draw for prizes such as Xbox Ones and Microsoft Surfaces.

This could be a good idea if your not looking to use the site much but also would like to get your hands on some good items for a cheap cost.

Of course, you’re not guaranteed to win them but they could offer more value than saving for a long time just to redeem a £5 Xbox gift card.

Microsoft Rewards Pros and Cons

Microsoft Rewards Pros:

  • Great if you’re an Xbox Gamer
  • Free to sign up for
  • Straightforward to start earning points

Microsoft Rewards Cons:

  • Not the best way to earn quick gift cards
  • Lack of range in rewards
  • Earning opportunities are limited

Conclusion

Being a gamer myself I can definitely see myself using this site to get the occasional free month of Xbox Live. Unfortunately though apart from that there’s nothing more to the site that’s worth getting excited about.

While it’s good to get rewards, this Microsoft rewards site does make you wait sometime before you can actually redeem a reward with the fairly high threshold.

I do still recommend this site as if like I said you do own or play Xbox then getting a free month of Xbox live from time to time can definitely save you some money in the long term.

My Verdict

6/10

My Alternative To Surveys

Microsoft Rewards will sure help you save money if you’re a gamer but if you’re not then this site probably won’t be of use to you.

However, if you are looking for a genuine opportunity to make a part or maybe even a full-time income then I would highly recommend checking out this high paying rewards site.

If your interested in checking out the exact rewards site I use to make an extra $500 a month check out my #1 recommendation below here.
