Today I've got a review of a survey site that has come to my attention recently called LiveWire Surveys.
Despite working just like other survey sites out there there are definitely things that are different for LiveWire such as the fact they pay out up to $50 a survey.
There are plenty of panels out there that claim to pay members do completing surveys but not all of them are legit.
In this review I’ll be talking you through the pros and cons and of course telling you whether or not LiveWire is a scam or not.
LiveWire Update (20/03/2019)
Unfortunately the panel was shut down later on last year on June 30th 2018. You can still read this review if you are looking to read about them however it may not be worth your time. Instead check out my better alternative below
What Is LiveWire?
LiveWire surveys is a survey panel operating mainly in the US that pays members and at that pays them well to complete surveys.
By completing the surveys you are helping further market research of a number brands and services that LiveWire are partnered with.
LiveWire is different in that in order to participate on there surveys you need to give personal details such as your social security number.
While this may seem odd they do say that it’s just normal and something they need to carry out for them to be able to process payments to you.
From what I’ve heard it’s legitimate and no one has had any issues with it.
However, I understand that details like social numbers are personal so if your not confident with giving these details then I would have a look at some of my other recommended survey sites for making money on my website
How Do You Get Started?
This is a unique survey site in that there is no age limit on who can join.
Anyone under the age of 13 though will need parental consent before signing up.
The sign up process is straightforward apart from the bit where they ask you for your social security number.
How Do You Make Start Making Money LiveWire Surveys?
LiveWire have surveys available on all kinds of different topics and subjects, what each survey is about does vary from surveys to survey.
What’s good to hear is that most members have had good success with the surveys as from what I’ve seen the surveys are easy to complete.
There’s nothing worse then being stuck in a survey for ages but this site seems to offer something different in that the surveys won’t take you long.
The surveys pay anywhere from between $1 to $50 a survey, which is quite a range but for the most part the surveys do pay well. You can expect to receive a number of surveys within the range of $5 to $10.
What Rewards Are Available?
While some panels have rewards such as E-Cheques and cash through Paypal, LiveWire pay out with Tango Gift Cards.
After finding out they pay out through this method I thought I’d check out Tango and it turns out that you can use there gift cards to buy other gift cards such as Walmart, Target and Amazon.
Is LiveWire Legit?
LiveWire looks like a good panel to make a little extra cash with.
Going from making some extra money to a full time income however with panels like LiveWire will be difficult.
There are many panels out there that pay out but often in the form of a couple of cents or so a survey
This already makes LiveWire an improvement to those survey sites.
As you can see from the verdict you will see in a moment I have given LiveWire a verdict of 6 out of 10 as they are a legit survey site for making money.
They aren't close to being a 10 as it isn’t the most consistent and sustainable way to make money online that I have found.
This leads me onto my recommendation for those looking online for ways to make a passive income
- Ask for information like your social security
- Won't make you a full time income or replace a job
- Interesting reward through a Tango Gift Cards
- Surveys Pay Well
- As A Good Reputation
My 'Worth It' Rating
My Alternative To Surveys?
LiveWire will sure bring you a second income into you home however making more then $20 a month on a consistent basis will be tricky.
Of course you can make money with these sites the only problem is are they sustainable
Instead I would rather opt for something that would be more worth my time and help me earn more of a consistent income each month.
I recommend starting your own website/business, click below to find out more.
